Sponsored in part by a grant from the E.E. Ford Foundation, the Making and Learning Institute offered a new paradigm in professional development. Instead of self-contained, teacher-centered workshops, faculty were immersed in innovative teaching practices, maker culture, design thinking, and digital learning.
